We made 50 litres of punch and offered it for free on various Christmas fairs in Vienna. The performance was meant to provoke, focusing on the reaction not only of the customers who were getting their punch for free but also of the sellers themselves. We always stood right in front of a punch booth. The whole performance was supposed to initiate a response from the sellers or the security guards, i.e. what kind of excuse they would make up to throw us out of the market. Doing so, we pointed out the absurdity of a ban which would prohibit to offer anything for free at these fairs.
