"FRAU BERLIN", the "super-signal", a woman dressed in pink from head to toe, with false teeth, paws instead of hands, a deformed nose and sometimes a blond wig. A heavily built and crude person, who dances to technopop in public, gives interviews to questions of national identity, or points out statements about the existential orientation of the new millenium. This female concept is based on the not clearly definable contradiction between assimilation and distance, the dichotomy between involvement and indifference towards the medial strategies she uses.
