Jutta Koether is showing a part of the work group " Entourage", containing drawings from 2005. "The forms and contents of her pictures and drawings never only deal with the old questions of painting, such as genres like the portrait or the question of abstraction and figuration. Aesthetic aspects as well as such regarding the content of the pictures refer to a mass of things beyond painting, literature, music, pop-culture or to small fragments of all this, so that the figure of these references dissolves itself completly and no more quotations are possible."
