If the concept of art and its methods has been expanding since roughly thirty-five years, the everyday working life of artists continues to be determined by a complex and strong regularity that has to remain unspoken of if they are going to be successful. For this guidebook, occupational risks were compiled from students of international artists during the spring of 2006 together with researchers from the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht and students of the F+F School for Art and Media Design Zurich.
