The forschungsgruppe_f was founded by students and professors of the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zurich. In the meantime this trans-disciplinary work group evolved into an international open network that examines forms of reception and perception in the tradition of action research through situational interventions and measures. www.forschungsgruppe-f.org
A main focus of the forschungsgruppe_f will be the research of migration out of the ‘romantic’ perspective. ‘Romantic Migration’ does not occur out of economic, but idealistic motives. During romanticism there was a migratory movement of writers and artists towards the South. Today numerous Germans migrate to Switzerland. Alongside the economically motivated aspect of this migration towards the South there are also idealistic ‘romantic‘ impulses that are projected onto the country.
