Theses: Anschlag (2004/2005)
Students of art and design theory at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zürich
Within the context of a course on the subject of “ Der Möglichkeitssinn” (“the sense of possibility”), five groups of students working in separate projects explored the potential for actionism and carnivalesque strategies in the grey zone between art, politics and youth culture. They investigated specific phenomena as a means of demonstrating both modes of public action and the possibilities and limitations of action in public space.
The thesis pursued by the individual groups – contents, positions, principles – are augmented and supported by critical or polemic commentaries.
